Allison Gumbs is UCipher’s Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, she is responsible for building brand awareness through effective marketing strategy, as well as managing media relations and customer communications.
Prior to her current role, Allison was an independent, marketing communications consultant with more than 25 years of experience managing the reputations of some of the world's best-known brands.
Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience working for a range of technology, education, pharmaceutical healthcare, medical services, legal, publishing, telecom, financial markets, B2B, and consumer companies with operations around the globe.
Before starting her consulting business, Allison managed marketing communications for LifeShield, a division of DIRECTV, and prior, oversaw all global communications efforts for Thomson Reuters’ Financial and Science divisions for nearly a decade.
Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University, and earned her certification in Financial and Investor Relations from New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
